OPEN

Is built for true beginners. We have 2 or 3 groups of Open Program campers at each camp, often further divided by age group - to ensure that older campers still feel comfortable at the novice level. The typical Open Program camper may be described as follows:

new to formal public speaking
could be a reluctant public speaker
has ideas and enthusiasm for learning new skills
can be any grade 3+ including novice seniors grade 8 - 10

PLUS

Is built for campers who have developed some confidence with public speaking and now want to develop enhanced skills and experience with various speech structures. The typical Plus Program camper may be described as follows:

comfortable with public speaking
seeks a challenge with both prepared and impromptu speaking
has ideas and enthusiasm for learning
recommended grade minimum, grade 5 +

LEVEL UP

Is built for campers who know how to speak publicly. The Level Up Program can accommodate campers in grades 8 to 10. The typical Level Up camper may be described as follows:

knows how to form a speech for audience appeal
is interested in advanced skills development
has ideas and enthusiasm for learning
can be in grades 8 through 10
may have had some success in formal speech competitions
